At 40SEVEN we have teams based across the UK that specialise in gas leakage surveys for gas network operators, private landowners and the public sector.

40SEVEN have carried out integrity testing of complete gas installation systems within schools, hospitals, universities, stadiums and other large or multi-site facilities.

We supply fully equipped gas leakage vehicles detecting gas levels down to parts per million. Systematic surveying using this technique can quickly locate and identify underground leaks or migrating gases before hazardous levels occur.

40SEVEN utilise vehicle mounted GASTEC (FID) leakage detection equipment for all external leakage projects and GASCOSEEKERS for all internal inspections.

Trigger units are available to detect, collect and monitor continuous representative samples of the atmosphere traversed by the survey vehicle. The system provides an audible and visual alarm to a pre-set threshold. The trigger unit is a one man survey system and is designed to cover large areas of gas networks with maximum impact and minimum fuss.

40SEVEN deliver accurate surveying results for our clients’ gas assets as part of their inspection and maintenance schemes, identifying any potential hazards and leakages and enabling the gas industry and its associated partners to mitigate the risk associated with a gas explosion incident.

We remain the sole contractor for one of the UK’s largest gas distribution utility companies carrying out vehicle mounted gas leakage surveys on their distribution network.

At 40SEVEN we have data preparation and entry teams that specialise in high volume data turn-around.

40SEVEN have custom designed databases to manage large data fields to help our clients manage their data/assets. Bespoke IT systems designed for high data turn-around have been developed to provide almost instant asset reports. QA tracking and system generated audits ensure data integrity is never compromised.

Recently we prepared field survey forms for National Grid and Scotia Gas Networks accumulating to over ¼ million data sheets in addition to over ¼ million data entries.

We can offer a wide range of meter reading services to Water, Gas and Electricity companies nationwide.

With the capability to capture data from anywhere on the UK mainland we can manually read domestic, commercial and industrial meters for Utility, holding companies or landlords.

We provide cyclic and rapid-response reads as and when required and also have an excellent success rate at obtaining ‘difficult’ meters where access or location information are a problem.
