We have just awarded the first of the 2021 Values Awards to our employees across the business.
Each quarter, all employees are able to nominate any one of their colleagues for a Values Award. This is recognition of the fact that they have gone above and beyond in any one of our core Values – Happy People, Happy Customers, Working Safely and Being Successful.
The competition was strong this quarter with 43 nominations from across the two businesses (40Seven and our sister company IETG), and our judges were certainly impressed with the calibre of the nominees. Our winners this quarter were:
- Happy People – Neil Swaine, Principal Land Surveyor – for surprising his Land Surveyor colleagues with a surprise Christmas gift
- Happy Customers – Richard Cave, IETG Technical Manager – for delivering a series of 6 webinars for our customers so we could still be visible whilst not able to see them face to face – 680 registrations and some great feedback received
- Working Safely – Jonathan Norman, IETG Field Crew – for devising a new reel and line method of gathering water samples in a more hygienic way after only being with the business for 2 months
- Being Successful – Lucy Halloway, 40Seven and IETG Compliance Administrator – assisting with the mountain of paperwork and administration required for the migration of ISO18001 to ISO45001 whilst dealing with flexible furlough and home schooling.
